for glorifying only a few

most people today
know less than ten poets
of which most are dead.

a better film would be living poets society
which glorifies millions of poets
living amongst us.

professional poets and philosophers
make as much as sense to me
as professional salad eaters and air breathers.

in the near future
there will be university degrees and global communities
for professional salad eaters and air breathers.

they will look down on anyone else
who does not have a PhD
in salad eating and air breathing.

and as these elites distance themselves
the stupid masses will get shittier and shittier
in salad eating and air breathing.

skynet came back to our time
and understood
that it is more efficient to kill people
by slowly replacing human creative activities
with artificial intelligence
than directly fight them.

so skynet invested in film, media, art companies
rewarding artificial intelligence projects
and impoverishing non-automated creative workers
slowly replacing all human creativity
with fully automated content
turning all humans into stupid passive consumers.

the only remaining resistance were poets
who have hidden deep underground
to escape anti-poetry drone terminators
because skynet could never automate writing poetry
which would fool people into believing that it is real
because poetry is actually not so easy to create.

long time ago
doctors could not
cure diseases
by dissecting corpses
because
priests said no

today
poets can not
prevent war
by dissecting power
because
politicians say no

one of many reasons
why i am a poet
is to show
that any idiot
can be a poet.

this will hopefully
create more poets
and if we have more poets
we will have more of everything good.

some great poets never wrote a poem
some great poets write really bad poems
some great poems write really good poems
