you are a good writer
only when you know
that you will never
fully express yourself
with words,
that no one will ever know
who you are
and that you will never know
who anyone is.

our feelings and inspiration
are the only truth
and none of our languages
can share it.

we will never know
the truth of other people
and all we will only know
our own truth.

words like god and love
are just simple lies
that do not come close
to sharing the truth.

it is very important
that we know
that there are people
whom we never met
who like
the same weird scenes
as we do.

i want to know you
as a fellow human being
with all the nice and ugly stuff,
and you can know me.

but i do not want to participate
in your pathetic power games
you need to play to survive,
nor will i drag you into mine.

i know it is cooler to make art
than doing most other jobs
but still, please, make sure
that what you make is real art.

since we do not know

that what you make is real art.
